There are a  wide variety of recreational activities, cultural experiences, and shopping opportunities available in the Central Okanagan. The area is serviced by Kelowna International Airport (YLW) which is the tenth busiest in all of Canada.

The Central Okanagan School District offers students the opportunity to be immersed in a safe, welcoming, vibrant,  English-speaking  community.  The  school district has been recognized for quality programs and outstanding results. All schools are publicly funded, government accredited, and provide a wide variety of courses and programs. Over ninety-eight percent of our students have English as their first language and we limit the enrolment of international students to one percent of a language in schools to guarantee a unique cultural experience for all students.
