โรงเรียนตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ที่มีความสวยงามร่มรื่น ปลอดภัย ด้วยพื้นที่อันกว้างขวางทำให้โรงเรียนมีสิ่งอำนวยความสะดวกที่ครบครันไม่ว่าจะเป็นด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ เทคโนโลยี กีฬา ดนตรีศิลปะการแสดง มีนักเรียนทั้งหมด 346 คนเป็นนักเรียนต่างชาติจำนวน 50 คน ที่เหลือเป็นนักเรียนชาวอังกฤษ  สำหรับนักเรียนต่างชาตินั้น ส่วนใหญ่จะมาจากประเทศทางแถบยุโรปอาทิเช่น เยอรมัน ฝรั่งเศส สวิตเซอร์แลนด์ อิตาลี ตลอดจนนักเรียนที่มาจากแถบเอเชียเช่น ฮ่องกง จีน (โรงเรียนนี้เคยมีเด็กนักเรียนไทยซึ่งปัจจุบันเรียนจบไปแล้ว)

Boarding House

ปัจจุบันมีเด็กนักเรียนที่อยู่หอพักทั้งหมด 189 คน โดยมี Boarding house ทั้งหมด 7 หลัง แบ่งเป็นหอพักชาย 4 หลังและหอพักหญิง 3 หลัง โดยแต่ละหอพักจะมีลักษณะเหมือนบ้านหลังใหญ่ ที่มีเด็กนักเรียนมาอยู่ร่วมกันและมีผู้ใหญ่คอยดูแล หอพักบางหลังมีสัตว์เลี้ยงประจำหอพักเพื่อให้เด็กนักเรียนได้มีการใช้เวลาว่างกับสัตว์เลี้ยงเหล่านั้นอาทิเช่นสุนัขหรือปลาสวยงาม

ที่ King’s Bruton มีความโดดเด่นในเรื่องของการดูแลเด็กนักเรียนโดยแต่ละหอพักจะมี housemaster หรือ housemistress คอยทำหน้าที่ดูแลนักเรียน อีกทั้งยังมี Matron ที่คอยทำหน้าที่ดูแลเรื่องเล็ก ๆ น้อย ๆ ในชีวิตประจำวันของนักเรียนอาทิเช่น เรื่องการซักผ้ารีดผ้า การดูแลสุขภาพของนักเรียน อีกทั้งยังมีการ Support ทางด้านวิชาการ โดย แต่ละหอพักก็จะมีติวเตอร์คอยให้คำแนะนำแก่นักเรียนในเรื่องวิชาต่าง ๆ โดยนักเรียนจะมีตารางที่จะต้องพบพูดคุยกับติวเตอร์วันละสองครั้ง

ในช่วงวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์ นักเรียนที่หอพักจะมีกิจกรรมทำร่วมกัน (optional) อาทิเช่นทัศนศึกษา Shopping เล่นเกม ดูหนัง เล่นกีฬาและอื่น ๆ

สำหรับจุดเด่นของ King’s Bruton อีกอย่างหนึ่งอย่างคือ เป็นโรงเรียนที่ขนาดไม่ได้ใหญ่มากทำให้ทุกทุกคนรู้จักกัน คุณครูรู้จักเด็กนักเรียนแต่ละคนเป็นอย่างดีและสามารถ Support และดูแลเด็กนักเรียนได้อย่างทั่วถึง

The Vancouver School Board provides public school education for children living in the city of Vancouver, Canada. It is one of the largest school districts in western Canada. Curriculum and Qualifications

Support Services for International Students
