Testimonials – Australia Summer Courses
I was very happy to have gone on my Summer Course. The school teacher was very attentive to foreign students. The same goes for every other teacher on campus; they always had friendly greetings to the foreign student body. The school campus itself is very big with many open fields for sports.
My host is a good-humored and cheerful person who also asked me lots of questions. This gave me the opportunity to practice my English all the time.
Everyone at CETA were very friendly and always a big help to me during my study.
The Summer Course is an absolutely wonderful experience for me. Besides making many new friends, it was a great opportunity for me to improve my English skills. My host took very good care of me and helped to improve my English as well.
The school teachers and students were also very friendly and frequently asked me if there was anything I needed help with. The same goes for CETA’s consultants who helped to ensure I was well taken care of.
I gained a lot of exciting experience during my summer course. I got to see beautiful Melbourne and visited the zoo where I got to see real life kangaroos.
At the school I made many new Australian friends. Everyone wanted to make acquaintance with me and asked me lots of questions. I also liked staying with my host family. They helped me a lot during my stay and whenever there was some spare time, they would invite me to play sports with them. During meal times, we would have lots of discussion and exchange cultural knowledge. This allowed me many opportunities to practice English.
I was very impressed with the accommodation during my stay at Philip Island with my friends. The trip also gave me the opportunity to get to know my friends a lot more.
All the staffs at CETA were very friendly and always helped me throughout.
I went on a Summer Course to Brisbane. I gained many new experiences while I was in Brisbane, particularly my much improved English skills.
I stayed with a large host family. Everyone was very kind to me. They spoke to me slowly and always helped to correct my pronunciation. I was very impressed with the warm welcome received and the effort the family made to make me feel like I was a part of the family. I often joined my host family to the movies, played sports, sang songs, go shopping as well as helped to cook dinner.
The school I attended is a very large and spacious school. There was a lot of shade and not crowded at all. The teachers were very attentive as well. Every Sunday, CETA’s group leader would take us students on the Summer Course to various attractions including the amusement park, Sea World, Daisy Hill Forest as well as the Lone Pine Koala Sanctuary (which I loved in particular). I got to see many animals that I’ve never seen before and got to cuddle very cute koalas.
During my Summer Course to Australia, besides classroom learning, there were many outings and sightseeing. The excursions were however academic in nature and I got to learn a lot about the people and culture which I found is very different from Thailand.
The school that I attended had a buddy system to pair up Thai students with Australian students. I thought this was a great way to help the foreign students make new friends as well as practice English.
In the end, I found myself speaking a lot of English without having to worry whether what I’m saying is right or wrong. This is also because the teachers and local students were very understanding that English isn’t my first language. This is a good thing because it made me much more confident to just speak in English.
In the beginning, I had to adapt quite a lot because it was a new place and there were so many new faces, but after a few exchange of questions, I started to make new friends. I want to recommend foreign students that if you dare not talk much yet, at least smile, that way the other students would find you more approachable.
CETA’s Summer Course which I went on was simply amazing. For me, it really was a once in a life time experience to leave home and discover new experiences abroad. I enjoyed the trip to Melbourne Zoo very much as well as Victoria Market. During my studies there, I made some really great friends and got to know CETA’s group leader very well who was very kind and supportive throughout.
The Summer Course I took to Australia was a wonderful experience. I got to learn many new things during trip. I was also very impressed with the extent to which my host family took care of me. We did many activities together and had lots of fun. My host’s house was also close to the school so it was easy for me to travel to and from school.

I got the opportunity to join CETA’s Summer Course program to Eltham College which I thoroughly enjoyed. During the course, I made many new friends and learned how to adapt to the new environment and culture. The school teachers were very nice and gave me great support. I found the school atmosphere very pleasant and really enjoyed staying with my host family. Most of the time I was too embarrassed to speak in English but I got to practice with my host. I really liked Philip Island; the penguins are so cute.
The summer course I spent at Eltham was really fun. I made many new friends and I got to improve my English a lot. The school teachers were very nice, were always supportive and took good care of us. My host was also a very nice person. We got quite attached and spent time watching TV.
The staffs at CETA were also always very helpful and supportive throughout my summer course.
