Secondary School – Application Process
Step 1 Choosing a School (2 weeks or more)
- Research for school information and receive recommendations from CETA’s consultants.
- Visit schools in the UK and have CETA help make appointments with each school.
Step 2 Application
CETA would help with the whole application process and coordinate with the institution free of charge.
Step 3 Entrance Examination
After reviewing the student application, the school will send over an entrance examination for the student to complete at CETA’s offices. The school will take around 1 to 2 weeks to check the test. A Skype interview might be requested by the school.
Step 4 Offer Letter (1 – 2 Weeks)
Receive an acceptance letter from the institution which will include full details on the expense and payment terms as well.
Step 5 Pay for School Fees
Pay the school tuition fees and send proof of payment to CETA.
Step 6 CAS
After paying for the school fees, CETA will coordinate for a Confirmation of Acceptance for Studies (CAS) document to confirm your status as a student. This will be used to apply for a student visa.
Step 7 Visa Process (2 – 5 weeks)
CETA will assist in the process of preparing the various documents to apply for a visa as well as appointments for health checkups.
Step 8 Pre-departure Advices by CETA
Before leaving the country, a CETA consultant will provide useful information about travelling and living in England.

- Results of English Proficiency test (if any)
